So far I have had a blast using ChatGPT to help me create the blog I have wanted for years. It has:

  1. Explained to me how to get a test site running locally on my machine to load and test the theme I am working on
  2. Explained to me the changes it was making to the Source theme to do what I need it to do
  3. Walked me through how to export this theme onto GitHub and have any subsequent changes automatically compile into a .zip files via GitHub actions
  4. Made necessary tweaks I ask of it to polish my theme
  5. Created a way for me fork Matt Birchler's Ghosty-Posty Obsidian Plugin to allow for links I put in to automatically create bookmarks or media playout natively

AI isn't to be used all of the time but if I had to learn how to code all of this on my own I would have never gotten to where I want my site to be and in a matter of hours I have a working Ghost site that looks and feels like how I want it to.
